Sketching animals from life is a great way to learn about drawing. Our new program, ZOO Sketch, is designed for individuals interested in drawing animals and nature from life. Join us at the Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Gardens, which covers 130 acres and is home to more than 1,900 animals. This program will include a session on drawing techniques through live observations; participants will have the opportunity to sketch their observations of animal behaviors, movements, and personalities with instruction from a Firehouse faculty member.

This program is now free to all participants due to a generous sponsorship by Home Creations. Students need only cover the cost of zoo admission and to bring a sketchbook and pencil.
