Marianne is a graphic designer and artist living in a perpetual whirlwind of creativity—and occasionally anxiety—in Oklahoma City. She is married with two hooman kiddos and two fur babies who keep life delightfully chaotic. With over 15 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from the University of Central Oklahoma, Marianne started her journey as a studio art major before discovering the world of design. Seeking a return to hands-on creativity and a break from the digital grind, Marianne channeled her love of pets and painting into Boop Studio—a space where her passion for art and animals beautifully intertwines.

How did you start pet portraits?
I started doing them for friends and then fell in love with it and created Boop Studio!

What's your favorite animal to paint/sculpt/photograph etc?
I have a soft spot for Boston Terriers.

Do you have any pets? Are they an inspiration in your work?
Yes! I have two pups. I have always loved animals and love to be able to give people cherished portraits of their pets.
