Arigon Starr, an enrolled member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, musician, actor, artist and playwright. She has released four music CDs, three “Super Indian” graphic novels and is a frequent contributor to Native Voices at the Autry. She is also an in-demand illustrator (Kokila Books’ award-winning “Contenders”) and lecturer. She utilizes humor to dispel stereotypes about Native people. Starr is based in Los Angeles.
