Nellie Lyons

Nellie Lyons is a ceramic artist whose work explores the relationship between the seen and unseen. Drawing inspiration from nature, she incorporates flowers, leaves, houses, and windows as symbols of memory, reflection, and personal experience. Her work considers shifting cultural experiences from her childhood between Los Angeles and Mexico, exploring ideas of identity, home, and belonging. Through these forms, she reflects on connection, perspective, and the continuity between past and present.

Pilar Loizaga

Pilar Loizaga’s practice centers in clay, drawn to its responsiveness at every stage. Working across processes from liquid slip to handbuilding and surface treatment, she embraces transformation as an essential part of her work. Inspired by natural forms like flowers, her pieces explore themes of growth, fragility, and change through material and process. Each work reflects a close attention to touch, timing, and the evolving life of clay.
